Fictional test data. Street names and house numbers are assembled at random from generic words; cities, regions and postcode formats are real so validation behaves realistically. Any match with a real address or person is coincidental.
Most of Miami-Dade County is one big numbered grid. Flagler Street divides north from south and Miami Avenue east from west, and every street carries its quadrant: 8851 SW 40th St, 1200 NW 87th Ave. Distance from the centre means house numbers often have five digits. The grid also reuses numbers with different suffixes: SW 87th Avenue, SW 87th Court and SW 87th Place are three parallel streets, and SW 40th Street, Terrace and Lane likewise. A normaliser that drops the suffix or the quadrant turns three valid addresses into one wrong one. Generated Miami and Hialeah addresses mostly use this pattern.
Florida has more condominium homes than any other state, so unit designators are everywhere: Unit 1203, #4B, Apt 12, Unit PH2 for a penthouse. Many residents are seasonal and use a different mailing address part of the year. Generated Florida addresses have a unit line about 40% of the time, so your forms meet them as often as real data does.
Florida ZIP codes run from 32003 to 34997: 320–322 for Jacksonville and the northeast, 323–325 for the Panhandle, 327–328 for Orlando, 330–333 for Miami and Broward, 336 for Tampa and 337 for St. Petersburg. Prefix 340 sits inside that range but is not in Florida: it is the code for military mail addressed to AA (Armed Forces Americas). A Florida check such as “starts with 32, 33 or 34” accepts those military codes.
West of the Apalachicola River — Pensacola, Panama City, Fort Walton Beach — Florida is on Central Time; the rest of the state is on Eastern Time. Tallahassee, the capital, is on Eastern Time although it shares area code 850 (and its overlay 448) with Pensacola. Miami is 305/786/645, Orlando 407/689, Tampa 813/656 and Fort Lauderdale 954/754.
State rate: 6%. Florida charges 6% state sales tax, and most counties add a discretionary sales surtax, so the rate depends on the county of delivery. Florida has no personal income tax, which is why so many people keep a Florida address — and why “primary residence” and seasonal-address fields matter in Florida customer data.
The generator picks one of these 24 places, then one of its real ZIP codes and one of its area codes. Florida has 1,473 ZIP codes in 528 places in the data we use.

Phone numbers in generated addresses always use 555-0100 to 555-0199, the block the North American Numbering Plan reserves for fiction, so they never ring a real line.
Checked October 2026. Street names and house numbers in the generator are synthetic. General US address format, ZIP code structure and form-testing tips are on the US address generator page; ZIP codes on their own come from the ZIP code generator.

House number, quadrant, street number and suffix: 8851 SW 40th St, Miami, FL 33165. Keep the quadrant (NW, NE, SW, SE) and the exact suffix — SW 87th Ave and SW 87th Ct are different streets.
No. Codes starting with 340 are for military mail to the Armed Forces Americas (state code AA), even though they fall between Florida’s 33 and 34 ranges.
Pensacola and the rest of the western Panhandle. Generated Pensacola addresses use ZIP codes starting with 325 and area code 850 or 448.
